Paranormal Activity

I just got home from seeing THE scariest movie that I have seen in a while. It is not about this perverted killer who makes you saw off your own leg, it is about demons who turn off lights, shut doors and oh ya, invade your body. This movie is called Paranormal Activity and it scared the crap out of me! It is scary because it is completely believable and though not everyone may believe in ghosts and demons, you may start now. It is filmed like the Blair Witch Project with a hand held camera. This couple has just moved into a new house and the girl is being haunted by a demon, not ghost, demon. The couple wants proof so they decide to leave he camera in front of their bed each night and watch in the morning to see what happens. It is absolutely, eye covering, awkward screaming, bed wetting, scary. Highly recommended. If you have seen it please comment and let me know what you thought!

  1. yeah, the movie actually had a pretty groundbreaking trailer... we talked about it breifly in class. They actually filmed one of the test audience's reactions to scary parts in the film, and the entire trailer was a nightshot view of the audience losing their minds with fear.... I believe what you say! Scary stuff. I'll have to see it, haven't seen anything terrifying in longer than I can remember....

  2. i haven't seen it, but i'm intrigued...I generally like scary movies--slashers I find to be very funny. The only scary movie that I have yet to finish, because i was too scared, was blair witch 2. But from what you've described, this may be up there...I should check it out. Problem is, I'd have nobody to watch it with--I find that most people that I know don't like to watch horror films. Life's scary enough :S

  3. i want to see this so bad
none of my friends will see it with me though

  4. i just watched it this moment, alone :D .. and it really freaked me out.. woohoo!

  5. If that demon came into my room well i was sleeping i would either hide under the covers, or jump out the window. :( But watching it in the dark is even better.
